Toshiyuki Shiga is the Representative Director, Chief Operating Officer of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., where he is responsible for External and Government Affairs, Intellectual Asset Management, Design, Corporate Governance, Global Internal Audit and TCSX (Total Customer Satisfaction Function).

Before assuming his current position in 2005, Shiga acted as Senior Vice President in charge of the general overseas market (GOM) Sales & Marketing division.

Since joining NML in 1976, Shiga has held a number of positions in Sales operation in Asia and Corporate Planning.

Shiga holds a degree from the faculty of economics at Osaka Prefecture University.
