Keiko Honda is a Director (Senior Partner) in the McKinsey & Company Japan Office. She serves financial institutions as well as corporate finance related issues.for corporations. Prior to joining McKinsey, Keiko has worked for Bain & Company and for the M&A department at Lehman Brothers. She also served as a Visiting Associate Professor (Corporate Finance) at the business school of Hitotsubashi University in 2002-03, and as a lecturer at Chuo Business School in 2002-05. She was a member of the Council for the Promotion of Regulatory Reform in Japan from 2004-2010 and a member of Business Accounting Council from 2012.
Keiko authored, co-authored and translated several books including “M&A and Alliance Strategy”, “Turnaround” and ”Valuation."
Keiko holds a B.A. in consumer economics from Ochanomizu University, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, where she majored in Finance and minored in Real Estate. While at Wharton, she was granted the Fulbright Scholarship.
